E.ON Next fixed tariff
- Small or micro businesses - Fixed rate contracts for businesses that meet the Ofgem definition of a micro business - it uses 100,000 kWh or less of electricity per year, and/or 293,000 kWh or less of gas per year. Or for businesses with an annual turnover of less than €2 million per year and fewer than 10 full-time employees (that's the EU definition - learn more at our guide to micro business energy).
- Multiple sites or property management - For anyone who needs a quote for two or more business premises, manages sites on behalf of another business or client, or is a property developer or landlord.
- Large or corporate solutions - Fixed rate contracts for larger businesses that fall outside of the Ofgem and EU small and micro business definitions. So, businesses that use more than 100,000 kWh of electricity per year, and/or use more than 293,000 kWh of gas per year. Or those that have a turnover of more than €2 million per year and have 10 or more full-time employees.
What are E.ON Next standing charges?
A standing charge is added to most electricity and gas bills by your supplier as a fixed daily amount that you must pay, regardless of the amount of energy you use. It covers the cost of keeping your home connected to the energy network and maintaining the supply.
When you choose a tariff, the standing charge is included in the price you’re quoted, so you’ll know upfront how much it is. The exact amount can vary depending on your supplier, the tariff you’re on, and even your location.

The electricity E.ON Next supplies comes from the National Grid. The majority of electricity that travels through the grid is generated in Britain from a variety of sources, such as solar, wind farms, and natural gas power plants (power stations). What is the E.ON Next cancellation policy?
E.ON Next's cancellation policy depends on the tariff you are on. Standard variable tariffs have no cancellation fees and can be changed by switching to another supplier, while fixed-term tariffs may charge exit fees if you cancel within a specific period before the contract ends.
You have a 14-day cooling-off period to change your mind after signing up for a new tariff, but once the switch is complete, you must pay for any energy used with the new supplier.
