What cover do I need if a guest is injured at my hotel?

Public liability insurance protects your business in the event a guest accidentally suffers an injury, damages your property or gets food poisoning due to staying at your hotel. This also covers you for non-guests who are just visiting your property, but make sure you inform your broker there are people in your property that are not guests staying with you. For example, if you have a restaurant open to the public as well as guests. this isn't unusual but insurers need to be aware of it. 

How quickly can I get cover when starting a new hotel?

This depends on each insurer, but generally, you can get coverage up to 30 days before the date you need it to start.

What do I need to start a quote?
